At the young age of fifteen, Ben came across a chef that was willing to take a chance on an inexperienced youth. This apprenticeship allowed Ben to explore and train in classical French cuisine. He formalized his education at the Conrad Hilton School at the University of Houston earning a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management followed by a Master of Business Administration. His career path led him to Atria Senior Living as a Divisional Director of Culinary. After several years, he transitioned into a role that would allow him to spend more time with his growing family by shaping and directing the food programs at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. He is excited to bring his experience to the residents at Conservatory At Alden Bridge.
Ben is husband to Athena and father to Alexander, Asher and Elsa Rose. As a family, they enjoy many outdoor activities together including camping, hiking, fishing and biking. When not outdoors, you may find them making homemade pizza and playing board games for a quiet night in. Volunteering is also an important part of their family time.
