The Conservatory at Alden Bridge Testimonials

When asked what he likes best about the Conservatory at Alden Bridge, Daniel replied: “The friendliness of the residents and associates, the camaraderie with new friends and the overall beauty of the building.  One could spend a week looking at the paintings.”

"When we first drove up to The Conservatory, I wouldn't come in. It looked much too glamorous for me. My first thought was, "I can't afford that!" but, boy, was I surprised. Like most of my friends, after a lifetime of caring for my family and others, I moved here because I could no longer live alone. It was time to let go of the duties and responsibilities of home ownership, and focus on just me.

I lived in Galveston, so I looked at many places all over Houston before choosing The Conservatory at Alden Bridge. It was the right decision! I was so excited when I moved here because the apartment had a full kitchen and I felt like I was home. (Not that I use it that often; I rather enjoy being served on white table cloths every day!). I love it here!

The staff takes very good care of us. They can't seem to do enough for us. One of the best parts it that they all treat me like I'm their grandmother. Yes, I have plenty of grandchildren already, but there's always room in my heart for more. It's the little things they do that many don't notice that shows us that they really do care about us all. I never have to worry about safety with the Lifeline support and I'm checked on every day if I don't open my door by noon. I feel loved and protected here. It is a very compassionate atmosphere. Yes, I would definitely recommend The Conservatory to my friends, and I always do. "

"After a full life of working and caring for my family, my children were grown, and my husband had passed away. While my life remained extremely active and vibrant, there came a time when I grew tired of living by myself in my own home. Although I had plenty of neighbors, I still felt lonely. I wanted to be around other interesting people and I wanted to socialize more. I also desired a more secure environment than I had living alone.

Choosing to move to The Conservatory was the right decision. Living here has given me so much more time to focus on the activities and interests I really enjoy. I have made new friends that will last forever, and have been able to contribute and help others. As new neighbors move in, each one has an interesting story to tell. My neighbors have moved here form all over the United States and several from overseas. There’s never a dull moment here. You can be as active or stay as private as you want. The Conservatory has a level of luxury that is hard to duplicate. You get used to a certain luxury and don’t want to go back to anything less! And I agree with Dottie; the best part of this place is the staff. They are universally compassionate and patient. I would definitely recommend The Conservatory to my friends."
