Transportation

Transportation Policy

Conservatory Senior Living is pleased to assist you with your transportation needs and requests. We offer transportation with a Conservatory Senior Living Driver via either our 21 passenger bus or luxury full-size 3 passenger vehicle.

Weekly Scheduled Transportation

Conservatory Senior Living will provide, at no additional charge, regularly scheduled transportation to various shopping centers, grocery stores, post office, banks and medical appointments. The monthly Social Program Calendar will detail the specific days for errand trips/locations and for Medical runs. Transportation will be scheduled Monday through Friday. Transportation will not be provided on week-end and holidays.

Medical Transportation

Conservatory Senior Living provides transportation for medical appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays within the defined "service area" of a 20 mile radius at no additional charge. Transportation to medical appointments can be made on non-scheduled days, as long as it permits with our schedule.

Emergency Medical Transportation

In the event of an emergency, the resident or Conservatory Senior Living must request emergency transportation by dialing "911". If a resident calls the ambulance, we ask that the staff be notified afterward by depressing your emergency call button or by calling the Concierge Desk at 817 562-3100. Conservatory Senior Residence vehicles will not be used to transport residents when the situation is deemed an emergency.

DFW International Airport Transportation

Conservatory Senior Living provides round-trip transportation to DFW Int'l Airport at a fee of $35, Monday through Friday for scheduled flight departures no earlier than 10am and for flight arrivals no later than 3pm. DFW International Airport round-trip transportation must originate and conclude at the Conservatory.

Special Events

Trips using Conservatory Senior Living vehicles (or outside transportation) are planned for educational, cultural and entertainment purposes. Notification of these trips is found in the Social Program Calendar and details of the trip are found in the Resident Reservation Book. Residents are asked to sign up by the designated RSVP date. There may be a nominal transportation fee for out of town trips.
